What is respite care?

Respite programs provide planned short-term and time -limited breaks for families and other unpaid caregivers of children with a developmental delay or behavioral problem, and adult with an intellectual disabilities or cognitive loss to support and maintain the primary caregiving relationship. Respite also provides a positive experience for the person receiving care. The term “short break “is used to describe respite care.

 

How does it work?

 

We follow the instruction that are giving to us, a special trained caregiver provides assistance for a few hours or even weeks if that’s what you require. It’s simple process we follow.

 

 

The Importance of Respite Care for the Family Caregiver.

 

Temporary care is often essential part of care plan so that a family caregiver can have time to take care of their own needs. It’s essential that someone providing care is also able to look after their own health and wellness so that they can do their best to be there for the person they care for. Respite Care can help people who receive care to regain some energy too.
